Selling a property in Jacksonville

This was amazing beachfront property, and local home buyers came out of the woodwork to snatch up everything we were selling

I have been married to Eve for six years, and in all that time I never met her family. She never talked about them, just said they had a falling out when she was young, and they disowned her. A few months ago I found out a lot more about this story. I learned that Eve’s parents are quite wealthy, and were active in the Jacksonville real estate market for many years. I learned this because there was a boating accident, and they both passed away. It turns out they did not disown Eve, who was their sole heir and inherited a stunning amount of real estate on the Jacksonville beachfront. They even owned a small Jax real estate brokerage, just to manage all of their rental properties! Neither Ever nor I knew the first thing about trying to sell property in Jacksonville, but we didn’t want to hang onto all of it. We are simple people with a nice, quiet lifestyle, and we didn’t have the time or inclination to become Jax real estate investors. We wanted to sell all of the NE Florida real estate we now owned and retire with all the money. Thankfully we owned that small real estate brokerage, so it was simply to task the employees to start selling all of the property. This was amazing beachfront property, and local home buyers came out of the woodwork to snatch up everything we were selling. I knew the real estate market in Jacksonville was hot, but I had no idea we could unload these houses so quickly.
